The Education Ministry today decided to grant an eight-day study leave for the students who appear for the GCE O/L Examination to be held in March 2021, Education Ministry Secretary Prof. Kapila Perera said.
He said instructions in this regard was issued to all provincial, zonal, divisional education authorities and all principals including pirivenas to take necessary action to grant study leave from February 17 to 25.
He said study leave should not be an issue when distributing exam centre tickets to students appearing for the examination.
The O/L Exam will be held from March 1 to 11, 2021, he added. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
