The Progressive Workers Association for Commercial Industry and Services (PWACIS) today said the decision to call-off their ongoing work-to-rule campaign over the East Container Terminal (ECT) issue, will be decided following the decision by the cabinet Ministers tomorrow.

PWACIS Secretary Shamal Sumanarathna told the Daily Mirror that rumours spreading that calling off of the ongoing work-to-rule campaign were false.

"The work-to-rule campaign would be called off with a written document assuring not selling or handing over the ECT to any other party clearly by the Government tomorrow after the cabinet decision," he said. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
