Burnt body found in a vehicle in Moneragala

The burnt body of a 50-year-old person was found in a double cab vehicle near a jungle area on the Horombuwa Suduwathura Aara road in Moneragala this morning, police said.

The body was identified to be of Waasinghe Guruge Chandana Kumara, a resident of Hulandawa area in Moneragala.

Police said he had left his home last evening following a family dispute.

Police are conducting investigations.
