All PCoI reports will be presented to Parliament: Sabry

All commission reports including the report of the presidential commission probing the Easter Sunday attack and the commission which looked into political victimisation will be presented to Parliament, Justice Minister Ali Sabry said yesterday.

Minister Sabry came out with this remark in response to a question raised by Chief Opposition Whip Lakshman Kiriella who queried as to whether presidential commission reports including the Easter Sunday attack will be presented.

“We will discuss the matter with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and see that the commission reports are presented to the House,” the Minister said. “The Commission probing the Easter Sunday attack is acting in an independent manner. The government has no intention of making any specific person guilty. (YOHAN PERERA)
