A total of 36 Sri Lankan expatriates who were stranded in Japan and United Arab Emirates (UAE) arrived in the country this morning.
Accordingly, 20 Sri Lankans stranded in UAE and 16 others stranded in Japan arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) with a special permission obtained from the government.
They were subjected to PCR tests upon their arrival at the BIA and sent to Hotels for mandatory quarantine. (T.K.G. Kapila)
