A 73-year-old man who was receiving treatment at the Karapitiya Hospital has been tested positive for the virus bringing the total number of patients to 22.
He has been transferred to the National Institute of Infectious Diseases (IDH).

No punishment is good enough for those who put innocent lives at risk by deliberately coming to Sri Lanka knowing very well that could be exposed. As I recollect 90% of those infected were Sri Lankans from Italy who travelled after the travel ban has been announced. Shame on them.
