16hr watercut in Colombo on Saturday

A 16-hour water cut will be in several areas of Colombo starting from 8.00 am on Saturday (20) due to essential maintenance on CEB Power supply line to Ambatale Treatment Plant Intake, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.

The water supply will be interrupted until12.00 midnight on Saturday (20).

Accordingly, Colombo, Dehiwela-Mt Lavinia, Kotte and Kaduwela Municipal Council areas, Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa and Kolonnawa Urban Council areas, Kotikawaththa and Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Saba areas and Rathmalana will be affected.

The NWSDB regretted any inconvenience likely to be caused to the consumers as a result of the water cut and requested them to kindly stock sufficient water.
