Dell announced that Roshan Nugawela and Lackshmindra Fernando have been appointed to its leadership team in South Asia.

Beyond these two new appointments, the company has expanded its Enterprise and Client Solutions routes to sales channels in Sri Lanka and the Maldives and introduced a range of end-to-end solutions for customers.

Roshan Nugawela has been appointed as the Country Manager for Dell in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. In his new role, Roshan will be focused on growing Dell’s customer base in the public, private and consumer sectors for both countries.

Roshan has more than a decade of experience in the IT industry and began his career with Dell in 2013 in Sri Lanka as a Distribution and Consumer Business Development Manager. In this role, he was instrumental in developing a go-to-market strategy for Dell Sri Lanka, combining channel management and marketing, sales enablement, retail sales and product marketing. This strategy delivered significant business results within a very short period of time, putting Dell in a leadership role in the consumer business segment in Sri Lanka.

“Over the past 30 years, Dell has evolved from building PCs to developing end-to-end solutions and services. This has enabled Dell to become a comprehensive IT solutions provider for customers throughout the world,” said Dell South Asia Developing Markets Group General Manager
Shahzad Khan.

“We are confident that with Roshan’s experience, both at and outside of Dell, he will be able to successfully help our Sri Lankan and Maldives customers improve their business efficiencies by embracing the total end-to-end solutions offered by Dell.”

Dell has also appointed outgoing Country Manager Lackshmindra Fernando to a regional Client Solutions regional role for South Asia, based in Singapore.
“We are also pleased to welcome Lackshmindra to our regional team and look forward to seeing him utilizing his experience and insights to expand and cultivate our partner relationships across South Asia,” concluded Khan.
