The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) resolution on Sri Lanka, that gives it two more years to fully implement Resolution 30/1, was adopted at the Human Rights Council in Geneva without a vote yesterday (21). 

The Resolution on promoting reconciliation, accountability and human rights in Sri Lanka was co-sponsored by Sri Lanka with several more countries and was presented by core groups on Sri Lanka.
