The number of COVID-19 deaths in the country increased to 144 with two more deaths being reported yesterday, the Government Information Department said.

It said the 20-day-old infant from Colombo 15, who succumbed to the virus at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital yesterday and a 62-year-old male from Colombo 10 are among the deceased.
