An employee attached to Parliament has been tested COVID-19 positive, an officer attached to the House said yesterday.

This person who happened to be an interpreter has been in quarantine as his father was tested positive nearly two weeks ago. Accordingly he was found positive while under quarantine.

“There is no danger to Parliament as this person had tested positive while being under quarantine. He had not come to work for more than ten days,” he added.
