Will open for wholesale trading activities initially
Fisheries Minister Douglas Devananda instructed the officials to take steps to reopen the Peliyagoda fish market for trading activities from midnight tomorrow, a statement from his office said yesterday.
He said trading activities would be carried out in accordance with health guidelines. An identity card will be issued to all the traders entering the fish market. Their arrivals and departures will be documented. The market will be open for wholesale trading activities first. Later it will be opened for retail fish trading.
