Indian fishermen poaching in Sri Lankan waters Three member committee appointed to resolve issues: Fisheries Minister

Fisheries Minister Douglas Devananda has appointed a three member committee to make recommendations to resolve the problem of Indian fishermen poaching in Sri Lankan waters, a statement said.  

 

According to the statement, Sri Lankan fishing community has been inconvenienced by such acts. Recently, four Indian fishermen died after their vessel collided with a Sri Lankan naval vessel.
