  • Misty conditions can be expected at some places during the morning

Showers or thundershowers which will exceed over 100 mm will occur over most parts of the island during the evening or night in the coming days, Department of Meteorology said yesterday. 

Heavy falls above 100 mm can be expected at some places Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Western, Central and North-western Provinces. 


Showers can be expected in Eastern and Uva Provinces and in Hambantota Districts, the Department said. 
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa and Western Provinces during the morning, the department added.
