Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi who was infected with the COVID-19 virus had been discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) yesterday after completely recovering from the disease, the Health Ministry said.
After being diagnosed with COVID-19 on January 23, following a Rapid Antigen Test, she was admitted to a treatment centre in Hikkaduwa.
However, on January 28, she was transferred to the IDH in Angoda.
