Harshana appointed assistant to Chief Opp’n Whip

• MPs Buddika Pathirana, J. C. Alawathuwala, Nalin Bandara Jayamaha and Hector Appuhamy were appointed as Deputy Opposition Whips

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Harshana Rajakaruna has been appointed as an assistant to the Chief Opposition whip by Leader of Opposition Sajith Premadasa over the weekend.   

Mr. Rajakaruna confirmed to Daily Mirror about the appointment yesterday.   

Earlier MPs Buddika Pathirana, J. C. Alawathuwala, Nalin Bandara Jayamaha and Hector Appuhamy were appointed as Deputy Opposition Whips.  Lakshman Kiriella was appointed as the Chief Opposition Whip last week.
