A 29-year-old suspect has been arrested with 10kg of heroin and Ice (methamphetamine) during a raid on a guest house at Gansaba Junction in Nugegoda yesterday.

The narcotics substance has a street value of more than Rs. 100 million. Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said the Police Organised Crimes Division seized over 5kg of heroin and over 5 kg of Ice drugs from the possession of the manager of the guest house.

He said the suspect would be detained for further questioning.
