A A A

With reference to the news story headlined, ‘Govt. decides to withdraw Counter Terrorism Bill’ published on the front page of the Daily Mirror on January 3, we have inadvertently mentioned that the previous government enacted the Counter Terrorism Bill (CTA) and repealed the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA).  We intended to say that the previous government worked out the CTA and committed to the UNHRC to repeal the PTA. We regret the error.
