Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa said that Solicitor General Dilrukshi Dias Wickremasinghe should reveal the names of Ministers who compelled her to sue former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa when she was the Director-General of the Bribery Commission.
He said that if she failed to do so, these allegations would be directed on all the Ministers of the government including the President.
The Opposition Leader made this remark while participating in the Cooperative National Conference at Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre in Colombo yesterday. He further stated that the 19th constitutional amendment was introduced to eliminate them, however the whole country had been affected by it. Solicitor General Dilrukshi Dias Wickremasinghe had said that she sued Gotabaya Rajapaksa because she was forced by Ministers. She should reveal the names of those who forced her. If not, these allegations would fall upon all the ministers of the government as well as the President. Authorities who break and bend the law for their personal gains are of no use to us. Revengeful governments are also futile for the country.
