What a pity. Obviously, there is nothing Left for the Old Left now except for rolling down the welcoming carpet.

Exclusion of Tissa Vitharna from PSC indicates that the Government does not want to listen to the voice of the intellectuals such as those in the Old Left. They consider the voice of uneducated like WW more important. My problem is why the Old Left continues to hold the ministerial posts, which have no meaning.

MR says the All Party Representative Committee (APRC) headed by Minister Tissa Vitharana will be the basis for the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC). APRC had deliberations for 3 years and submitted its report to MR in 2009. The funny thing is if APRC is the basis for PSC, why leave out its chairman from the PSC?
