Train service on up-country railway track has come to a standstill due to earth slips in Hali Ela, Badulla and Uduwa areas . The clearing of the track is delayed due to the heavy rains prevailing in the area. Pix by Prasad Rukmal
Hks what's your point ? You mean to say that the British should have laid the railway tracks somewhere else or they shouldn't have laid it at all. via DM iPad app

Lucky that the slip fall on to the rail tracks. I hope the tracks do not slip down the precipices with a train load of people. These tracks were built in the 1800s and hope the railway is checking on the safety.
