Video: MR declares open the Rambukkan-Oya

President Mahinda Rajapakse declared opened the Rambukkan-Oya Multipurpose Irrigation Scheme yesterday. The irrigation project is completed at a cost of 39.7 billion rupees benefiting 4,500 families directly.Pix by Wasantha Chandrapala

    Aiyo No..Whatever he touches or opens is a Flop..Harbour and airport in Hambantota....etc...Sadly A cursed opener, with losses into Billions...Sometimes, better not do or start these projects as we don't then lose so much of our country's funds...Ah forgot.,,but they need to make their commissions eh...sorry

    39.7 billion spent on 4500 families? that's more than 8 million a family. What difference it could have made, if that money was given directly to those families.

    So, the cost per family is 8.8 Million. I wonder what if they gave it diectly to the families to start a more productive thing?
