The 19th death anniversary of Gamini Dissanayaka, a former opposition leader and a presidential candidate, was commemorated at his statue at Nelum Pokuna Mawatha today. Premier D.M. Jayaratne, Ministers Navin Dissanayaka and Mervin Silva, United National Party (UNP) General Secretary Tissa Attanayake, UNP MP Karu Jayasuriya and many religious dignitaries and relatives took part in the ceremony.
