Great appointment and majority sri lankan peoples number one choice is Gota. All people know he will be a no nonsense man and a man of action which he proved diminishing 30 years of terror whcih no one thought it was a possibility. He proved many wrong.

MR is the power source of the party. If he was unable to do it in 2015 with all guns blazing, all the forces backing, all the money, all government assets, Judiciary and means of thuggery how on earth he is going to win by appointing his brother as a candidate? Family rule that's what people rejected.
