A media briefing headed by Army Commander Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayaka to inform about the arrangements made to pay tribute to the memory of fallen war heroes in the series of ‘Dasawarshabhishekaya’ (Decade of Peace) ceremonies, was held at the Sri Lanka Electrical Mechanical and Engineering (SLEME) Regimental Headquarters in Colombo today. Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage and Chief of Staff Major General Shavendra Silva were also present at the media briefing. Pix by Nisal Baduge

There was a rumour, the recent mobs were sent by the government, attacks not only Muslim shops also Sinhalese shops to create racial conflict, delay the presidential election, Army and Police did not do anything to stop it. What is your take?
