Sri Lanka faced severe damage due to the recent catastrophic floods which devastated most parts of the country.
People lost lives, loved ones, homes and much more creating a severe hit on the country’s overall progression. The alarming numbers of those affected ignited the need to provide relief support immediately. With outpouring humanity Sri Lanka came together and made every possible effort to provide relief in that hour of need.
With an intention of supporting the country and as NDB’s philanthropic services to the nation, NDB staff members stepped in by collecting essential items through its head office and regional branches. These items were then dispatched to those who were severely affected through Sri Lanka Air Force and regional collection centers
As a responsible corporate citizen, NDB strives to make meaningful contributions to the society through its strategic sustainability initiatives that aim to inspire the sustainable growth of a progressive Sri Lanka. Sustainability is a strategic priority at NDB and the bank continuously endeavours to foster it across all its business decisions and activities.
