Vision Care, Sri Lanka’s pioneering eye care service provider, donated a cold centrifuge to the Medical Research Institute to contribute towards Sri Lanka’s battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The equipment is essential to perform PCR testing for COVID-19 as it would increase the testing capacity of the institution by 400 tests per day.
Joining the collective effort to mitigate the COVID-19 pandemic, Manulal Laknatha and Chandana Premalal- Business Development Managers, Vision Care, formally handed over the medical equipment to Dr. Jayaruwan Bandara - Deputy Director, Medical Research Institute, Dr. Kanthi Nanayakara and Dr. Dulmini Kumarasinghe at the Medical Research Institute Colombo.
