Hayleys Group Recreation Club organised its annual Vesak lantern competition this year as well. However, the event took a subdued tone due to the recent floods experienced countrywide. The Hayleys group donated all funds that were to be used for Vesak festivities and prize money towards assisting flood victims. The employees of all sectors of the group joined hands to assist people and children affected by the floods and landslides by gifting them food rations and other essential needs.
