Online survey to measure COVID-19 impact on economy

The Department of Census and Statistics (DCS) the main statistical organization of the government, has initiated an on line survey to measure the impact caused by COVID-19 pandemic to the Sri Lankan economy.
DCS said it hopes to collect representative samples from more than 15, 000 entities in both formal and informal sectors for the survey.
DCS requested the country’s business community to support the survey by taking part in it.
Business entities can take part in this survey by visiting www.statistics.gov.lk or downloading the PDF questionnaire from the same website. 
The completed questionnaire should be dispatched to the DCS via its fax number of 011-2147412 or by emailing it to the industries@statistics.gov.lk or to the address, Industry, Construction, Trade & Services Division, Department of Census and Statistics, No. 306/71, Polduwa Road, Battaramulla.
