Wijeweera’s daughter directed to NIMH

The daughter of former JVP leader Rohana Wijeweera was directed to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), Angoda by the Wattala Magistrate’s Court today.

Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne ordered the Prisons Commissioner to admit her to the hospital under the supervision of prison officials and submit a full report regarding her mental health to Court.

She was arrested following a complaint lodged by her mother, who alleged that she was assaulted by the suspect.

She was ordered to be produced before the Magistrate’s Court on June 24.

If they are kept prisoners for 25 years, just because her father was Rohana wijeweera, what else could you expect?

Please release them to the society.

Please, release this innocent girl immediately. Even though Wijeweera may be a criminal man, his innocent children and wife are not responsible for anything what Wijeweera did. Other thing I want to emphasize is that Wijeweera sacrificed his life for real socialism of Sri Lanka but not for selfishness like today dirty politicians who are in every political parties of Sri Lanka.
