White flag; names of witnesses submitted

The list of defence witnesses over the white flag case was submitted before Trial-at-bar, when the white flag case was taken today.

The ten-member witnesses will include Former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka, UMP MPs Karu Jayasuriya, Mangala Samaraweera, DNA MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Professor Ashley Halpe.

Meanwhile, Welikada prison authorities today informed the Trial-at-bar that they would provide hot water for Sarath Fonseka when the required equipment provided.

Defence Counciller Nalin Ladduwahetty said that there are several individuals who are willing to provide the equipment. (LS)
