Welikada riot: Four escapees still at large

The police said today that four prisoners who escaped from the Welikada prison during the recent mayhem at the prison were still at large.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, police spokesman SSP Prishantha Jayakody said four prisoners were still at large.

“Four of the escapees have not been arrested yet and police are conducting investigations in order to apprehend the four” he said. (Hafeel Farisz)
