Former Sri Lanka off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan on Friday said that he never had any competition with the legendary Shane Warne as both of them played for two different countries.
Muralitharan also said that you get to see a bowler like Warne once in 100 years.
Warne on the other hand clarified his stand on comments on Twitter. Talking about the possibility of making a comeback to Test cricket. he said that although he is still bowling well and perform at the international level, he doesn’t want to make a comeback.(Country Cricket)
I respect murali as a player and a person, but he definately had an unfamiliar advantege over the others due to his deformity in his bowling arm. But credit to him for working hard and constantly trying to improve. Nicest bloke you would find on a criket field.
