Vehicle restriction on E03

The use of the Katunayake-Colombo Expressway (E03) for vehicles entering Colombo from Kandy and Negombo Roads will be restricted from 7 am to 9 am during weekdays from October 7.

Police said the measure was taken to reduce the mounting traffic in the morning near the entrances to the E03 from Kandy and Negombo Roads.

Well, they will stop the restriction very soon by increasing the fee for traffic from 7AM to 9AM.

Bad planning if they can't cope with the traffic. The whole point of building the highway is negated by this short-sighted act.
