It was the punishment they were interested in. Now that they think we've had enough, any S..T we dish out is good enough for them. Funny thing though, that our pundits didn't realize it and allowed them to breath down our necks all this time!!!!
sellupp Friday, 03 August 2012 03:22 AM
Why do we need others approval.?
asoka Friday, 03 August 2012 03:36 AM

What US is doing in Syria is good and right. What more for a authoritarian regime consisting of family members without any opposition ruling since 1966 and during the course committing the most heinous crimes that are even unreported and unquestioned. Do you sincerely think this regime is right to exist in this new world order?
kingasanga Friday, 03 August 2012 04:20 AM
why any one didn't complain regarding Z score issue to America? next time make sure to vote American for president as Sri Lanka. Say, USA, USA, USA, USA....
funny peoples aren't you?
Nihal Amarasekera Friday, 03 August 2012 05:24 AM
We were on pins.
Kangaroo Friday, 03 August 2012 05:29 AM
ok
Nodrog Friday, 03 August 2012 05:31 AM
If its right then why do it secretly? Right or wrong its not for the US to decide. There is an int'l body for these issues..... its called the UN.
Amarapala Friday, 03 August 2012 06:05 AM
Where is Modawansa??
Punchi Putha Thursday, 02 August 2012 11:29 PM
US is again hoodwinked by our patriotic politicos
Ralph Anthony Kernr Friday, 03 August 2012 07:45 AM
It is sad to note that no date has been announced for the implementation of the National Action Plan, neither has the USA Governament requested for a final date, which serves no benefit. So this documents too will end up as archives.
asoka abeywardena Friday, 03 August 2012 08:08 AM
ONLY SOUND NO ACTION
Azmi Friday, 03 August 2012 09:07 AM
Who Are "They" Anyway? welcome our (NAP) this way there threatening other nations, everyone know USA have "world Action Plan" about every country
Milindra Friday, 03 August 2012 09:25 AM
Would Like to point out something. I thik these countries need a regime otherwise they will not long last. For an example see what happened to Iraq, Libya, these countries will ever come back to stable after regime break? I dont think so, because Al Qaeda also waiting for opportunites!
Suhail Modera Friday, 03 August 2012 09:40 AM
NAP will benefit all citizens of Sri Lanka? OR NAP will benefit of USA ? if USA not create problem what's the use of Reconciliation?
Letchmi Friday, 03 August 2012 03:14 PM
Agree with Nodrog. On the one hand the US calls for peace and human rights implementation of peace and on the other they contribute to a sovereign country's instability and chaos.
Fusion Thursday, 02 August 2012 01:52 PM
US doesn't care about action plans. The US will be fine with SL as long as SL responds positively to their strategic interest. The recent souring of relations is rumored to be because of the China factor & some defense agreements.
Suny Thursday, 02 August 2012 07:27 AM
Now this is over and US will try to find another issue to have a go with SL government
Saskia Thursday, 02 August 2012 07:36 AM
Well said US. We need the full implementation of LLRC.
be-real Thursday, 02 August 2012 08:39 AM
This is welcomed but not sufficient until the full LLRC recomendations are implemented.
Jeevan Thursday, 02 August 2012 09:00 AM
Anyways, it is after all a US action plan!
Muraly Thursday, 02 August 2012 09:30 AM
Homemade cookies
Nodrog Thursday, 02 August 2012 10:10 AM
The US talks about reconciliation and peace while covertly assisting the Syrian rebels.
Game Over Thursday, 02 August 2012 11:27 AM
No... They will have a question on when the plans will be implemented. Usually with our government, when it comes to good things it is all sound no work !
citizen junior Thursday, 02 August 2012 12:16 PM
US, why not have an action plan to alliviate poverty and joblessness in yr country
CHANDRAPALA Thursday, 02 August 2012 07:16 AM
US government is very happy over the "Action Plan" But people in this country completely in dark about this. There is a government in this country which is governed by a other country. Actually, to whom we vote at the election? To US government or SL government?
perumal Thursday, 02 August 2012 02:03 PM
Exactly! US and others do not know what Srilankan national plans are like. They normally end up nowhere.
karikalan1 Thursday, 02 August 2012 02:15 PM
Yes, now the implementation can go ahead, US wants more.
Nesh Thursday, 02 August 2012 02:49 PM
Will they monitor the implementation? I doubt it. this is an eye wash by both usa and sri lanka
CHANDRAPALA Thursday, 02 August 2012 03:43 PM
There will be another action plan to implement the NAP. This will continue until the government's term of office is over.
shantha madawela Thursday, 02 August 2012 04:41 PM
Wimal, what's going to happen to you....?
Saskia Thursday, 02 August 2012 05:01 PM
If the LLRC is not implemented fully, then we will demand for Tamil Eelam through referendum like east timor and south sudan.
AMT Thursday, 02 August 2012 07:06 PM
Will it be like the implementation of the 13th amendment to the consititution
raj Thursday, 02 August 2012 06:53 PM
if Hitler was ruling Germany, US would have asked his action plan to justify crimes against Jewish.
