University dons to strike again

The Federation of University Teachers will stage a token strike on January 17, demanding an upward revision of their salary scales.

FUTA spokesman Dr. Mahim Mendis said that the entire university system is likely to be crippled as a result of this strike being planned at the moment.  (Kelum Bandara)
