World has divided over the issue of our country. It is very dangerous for the world peace. Time has come to change our foreign policy.
Percy Kulasinghe Tuesday, 01 October 2013 04:32 AM
Although divided ,the politisized resolution of the world policing

US and UK wage war against culprit countries and kill. SL Govt kill its own innocent people while waging war against terrorism.

First of all, it is not pro gov. Any one pro SL will stand with this gov at this moment, because it is not MR but SL being targetted. Between I have never voted for MR.

"Pakistan, the Russian Federation, Cuba, Bolivia, Venezuela and Belarus critized Pllay’s remarks". The world know the record of these countries. The leader of Bolivia has labeled Obama as a criminal. These are the countries that support Sri Lanka. Birds of a feather flock together.
Nadi Karunaratne Saturday, 28 September 2013 11:49 AM
Yes divided - all the undemocratic and oppressive dictatorships like Belarus, China, Vietnam, Cuba with us and the democratic states from the civilized world against.us.

Why Pakistan is supporting this government? This govt. is harassing muslims which every one knows, why pakistan pretent that it doest not know. Pakistan has no concern over muslim all polical gain only. I am disappointed...
Rubert Vanderkoon Saturday, 28 September 2013 07:36 AM
Yes the birds do flock together, like Obama and Cameron. Since receiving a Nobel peace prize for declaring "there is a third way to achieve peace", Obama has bombed Libya, and hell bent on dropping one or two in Syria. Despite his daft statements pre-2008, Guantanamo is still alive. Gnerally the two governments are responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths in Iraq since the mayhem began. Sri Lanka needs congratulating for the war victory but Pillai has a bone in her brain.
Prometheus Saturday, 28 September 2013 06:46 AM
To pro-government crowd, I wouldn't start celebrating If I were you. Only if SL gets more than 24 votes will they be in the clear. Otherwise, be prepared for another resolution against SL.

No country is really interested in what Pillay has to say. It is obvious that the diaspora is egging her on for their own twisted ends.
Kusuma Saturday, 28 September 2013 06:15 AM
"Those who live in glass-houses should not throw stones! " What about the so-called human rights champion, the US, does it holds a better record than Sri Lanka?
Banda Saturday, 28 September 2013 04:49 AM
That is why the UN will fail, US wants to rule with its cohorts, any one who is on their side like the tiger terrorists are free birds who never commited any human rights issues.
