The United States Assistant-Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Robert Blake has arrived in Sri Lanka and is to hold talks with government officials, political leaders and members of the civil society, US Embassy Spokesman Jeff Anderson confirmed.
This is the first visit by a top US official to the island since the end of the war with the LTTE this year. (RR)
