Udul further remanded
The Colombo Chief Magistrate today further remanded the convener of Inter University Students Federation (IUSF) Udul Premaratne till December 10.
The Magistrate also ordered the Cinnamon Garden Police to file a report on that date clearly indicating the offences committed by Udul Premaratne and 21 other suspects, who were alleged to have forcibly entered the premises of the Ministry of Higher Education at Ward Place on October 14.
Meanwhile, in a separate inquiry held before the Colombo High Court to consider bail to Udul Premaratna the State Counsel appearing on behalf of the state moved for a further date to file objections. The Court allowed him to file objections on November 30. (TFT)
