At least two persons were killed and another 26 were injured in two separate road accidents in Minuwangoda and Nittambuwa this morning, the Police said.
Two persons were killed and four persons were injured after their car skidded off the road and crash in to tree at Medamulla on the Kurunegala- Minuwangoda main Road.
Police said the injured were admitted to the Minuwangoda Hospital and one person who was in critical condition was transferred to the National Hospital.
Meanwhile, in Nittambuwa accident, at least 22 persons were injured following a collision between three buses and a car at Danowita on the Colombo-Kandy Main Road.
Police said the injured were admitted to the Wathupitiwala and Warakapola Hospital.(DS)
