Two people who are alleged to have imported hazardous chemicals were arrested by the Colombo Crime Division (CCD) in connection with last month’s fire at the SLPA warehouse in the Colombo Port. (SD)

    Arresting is not the correct thing, but the port should have the facility to store such chemicals
