Yes aney, have seen loads of bad stuff in there. Some men get a kick by distorting female photos and profiles. Seriously I am for blocking FB in SL.
facebooker Saturday, 16 October 2010 05:32 AM

ajith Saturday, 16 October 2010 05:48 AM
Hondawede to all face book lunatics.

ajith Saturday, 16 October 2010 05:51 AM
Father has all the rights to complain.
It is the duty of the law biding to take action against the culprits.
Punish them severely.
D.E.M. Ocracy Saturday, 16 October 2010 06:57 AM
WHAT IS DONE SECRETLY BY THE DAUGHTER NOT EVEN THE FATHER OR MOTHER WOULD KNOW. SINCE IT IS NOW PUBLIC THAT THEY HAVE GOT UPSET. THE BLAME LIES SOLELY ON YOUR OWN DAUGHTER, FOR IF SHE WAS DECENT SHE WOULD NOT POST ANYTHING ON FACEBOOK.
DO NOT BLAME OTHERS, FIRST CORRECT YOUR HOUSEHOLD.
KD Saturday, 16 October 2010 08:16 AM
If they are illiterate how can they operate an FB account? Are you sitting on your brain?
KD Saturday, 16 October 2010 08:18 AM
No profiles stolen, just copied over to another website. Learn to read before comment.

Maybe this father wants some publicity for his daughter.. Boys be warned.
Muneer Saturday, 16 October 2010 12:25 PM
You are right Ocracy. Parents should watch out what their belongings do.
citizen1 Saturday, 16 October 2010 12:43 PM
Facebook is a harmless social network which can be abused by the user..in this case the foolish daughter.
This goes for anything.
Anjana Saturday, 16 October 2010 02:06 PM
Facebook has a section for profile settings. And there you can give the privileges to the friends or who ever in your profile with required controls. You can select the access levels such as friends, everyone, friends of friends likewise. If this woman is not knowing about it..now its too late to react i believe. Anyway seems like the effort to become more popular in Social Media has backfired. And also this complain can be another attempt to gain more popularity. Who knows...anyway this is a good lesson for her..
sudu payya kolla Saturday, 16 October 2010 05:03 PM
decent people use facebook . but decent people, especially decent srilankan girls dont provoke this sort of response from other facebook users. there must have been some catalyst from this 'decent' girl. no smoke without fire
Prabhath Sunday, 17 October 2010 03:57 AM

Anura Sunday, 17 October 2010 06:38 AM

who is this presnter?
boyzoned Friday, 15 October 2010 02:28 PM
the father should thank his stars that only his daughters reputation has been damaged. With daughters like this who have the itch to post their profiles on Facebook, he could soon be facing far worse problems.
Suba Friday, 15 October 2010 02:32 PM
Face Book is a Tool. Like fire, must be used cautiously. There are accepted but unwritten rules for use of Public Sites. Giving out telephone numbers etc is asking for trouble.
Give out personal details and face the consequences.
Why is the father making the complaint, when it is an adult who is affected?
nalla paambu Friday, 15 October 2010 02:32 PM
Nice chance to sue Facebook in a US court. Damages will run into millions.
Jayatillaka Friday, 15 October 2010 02:32 PM
my dear father you cant stop these things and you cant ban the face book. you cant file cases against the whole world
gira Friday, 15 October 2010 02:33 PM

why you are always posting stupid comments like this? whats the fun that you try to get ?
steven Friday, 15 October 2010 04:55 PM
idiots that dont protect their facebook account with all the controls they have deserve to get their profiles stolen
steven Friday, 15 October 2010 04:58 PM
Facebook has controls to prevent such intrusions. in other words illiterate people should not get on facebook if they don not know how to use it
sltk2004 Friday, 15 October 2010 05:57 PM
Are you serious ? Do you think this is the first time something like this happened ? This is not the fault of FB. For example if someone gets a video of this presenter, and then dubs some other words to the video, then is it the fault of the TV station? All these are criminal activities - and the fault lies with the persons who do this activities, and not with the medium - FB or TV or news paper or whatever.
