Train derailed in Slave Island

A train traveling from Aluthgama to Colombo derailed in Slave Island around midday today after a compartment of the train crashed against a wall. Three bystanders were injured and rushed to the National Hospital for treatment. The police are conducting further investigation (GS)

    Now the Govt. has an excuse to go ahead with the demolition of these houses citing that they are too close to the railway tracks and therefore a danger to life and limb ( which is actually true.) Coincidence?
