UNP Galle District Candidate Gayantha Karunatilleke today said it was too soon to tell that there was underworld involvement in the Kotahena shooting because the police investigations on the Kotahena shootout were yet to be completed.

Meanwhile, UNP National Organizer Daya Gamage said Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran should be sent home if found guilty without transferring him to another State institution.

Mr. Gamage expressed these views when he was asked to comment on the recent statement made by President Maithripala Sirisena that he had suggested Mr. Mahendran should resign over the bond scam allegation. (YP)
