Three killed in Battuluoya

Three persons were killed when two lorries collided head on in the Battuluoya area in the Puttalam- Chilaw main road this morning.

Two victims were the lorry drivers. One person is in a critical condition and receiving treatment at the Mundalama Hospital. The victims are residents of Wennappuwa and Dummalasuriya areas.

The Mundalama police are investigating into the incident. (Lalith Navaratne and Hiran Jayasinghe)
