Maithree Gunaratne claims that Executive Committee is "Hora Executive Committee " appointed by Ranil. How can it elect Sajith to the post of Deputy Leader if it is Ranil's "Hora Executive Committee". This type of persons should chase out of the Party. We can remember how Hema Premadasa behaved when Hon. Ranasinghe was in Power. People know these things. She cannot fool public.- Sam from old political field.

RW is the only leader in the country who can, one day, bring the country to the prosperity. He has the patient, knowledge and
experience to do so. In Sri Lankan history he is the only leader who has come out from a Sri Lankan University. He does not change his image, just shifting to white national suite with a plate of flowers. It takes further time for Sri Lankan to realize him.
Ratnasiri Tuesday, 20 December 2011 12:25 PM
First damage to the party was done by Sajith's father, when he got rid of leaders like Lalith and Gamini with one million votes. UNP is yet to recover from that loss. UNP does not need another Premadasa Jr to do further damage.

A comment on this incident is not that difficult. It was a very bad incident .It shouldn't have taken place. It shows our police is powerless or afraid,or some hidden hand has been very active since some time back. The CID should take over the investigation and reveal the culprits to all of us.
Abeygunaratna Tuesday, 20 December 2011 12:33 PM
It is clear now why RW hangs on. Because he has the majority support from the core UNP. Although there is vociferous opposition to him the silent majority seems to be with him. .
Nodrog Tuesday, 20 December 2011 12:47 PM
take the hint and leave. The supporters hate you and its what they want that should matter. Its not the working committee that votes for the UNP at elections
