The Prison van that was escorting Sarath Fonseka from the Nawaloka Hospital to the Suprme Court was damaged by the people who gathered at the Nawaloka Hospital.

Meanwhile, before he leaves he thanked the staff of the Nawaloka Hospital for their service.
