He further went on to state that it is the duty of the government to do justice by the students. “The irresponsible actions of the government has resulted in chaos, I read reports that the president directly intervened on and urged the department to release results, but this isn’t what the President has to do, what he should’ve done was to ensure that the department is run smoothly and the policies introduced are practical”.
Dissanayake said that the students deserve justice and the government has to take full responsibility for its actions and make sure the students get the results they deserve. “ This is the future of our country that these people are playing with and we call on the government to make sure justice prevails and the students receive results they deserve” he said.( Hafeel Farisz)
