Tamil Eelam Liberation Organization (TELO) leader, Selvam Adaikkalanathan has decided to resign from the post.
He said that he decided to resign from the post because he was unable to get a ministerial portfolio for the Wanni district as promised by him to the people in the district.
“I promised a ministerial post for the people in the Wanni district after this Provincial Council Election. But the party decided to give the ministerial post to M.K. Shivajilingam who contested in the Jaffna district. I honour the party decision but I decided to resign as I couldn't fulfil my promise made to the Wanni people,” he said.
well done Mr. Adaikalanathan. Glad to see you keeping your word. What next is the Big question.

TAMILS STILL RESPECT YOU BUT WE CANT ACCEPT THE REASON WHAT YOU SAID FOR YOUR RESIGNATION.EVEN IF YOU SAY THAT YOU HONOR THE PARTY AND IT'S DECISION THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO ACT LIKE THIS, BECAUSE INDIRECTLY YOU ARE DAMAGING THE UNITY OF THE TAMIL PARTIES.

The very fact that he contested using TELO should have been banned. There is no Ealam any more in Sri Lanka. Or have we?
