Both Dilshan & Tharanga were brilliant schoolboy cricketers who were brought into the Side very early though they didn’t get the full recognition they deserved (like some others). The most part of his (ODI)career Dilshan was used as a middle order batsman( like Samaraweera), therefore they couldn’t show their true self as they had to bat at times when there was a big batting collapse or some other times when their batting is not very important. In fact he (Dilshan ) was at the verge of losing his position in the team, luckily for him & the Country, he was promoted as an opener considering his good performances in the Domestic Tournaments as an opener. It is sad to note both Dilshan, Samaraweera ( who won the Schoolboy Cricketer of the year award twice{ rare feat}1994 ,’95 for his batting)are in their 35th year of their life.

Sri Lanka have a very good chance of reaching the final , the final will be a very interesting match. Only concern is the middle order

    Hem Sunday, 27 March 2011 04:24 AM

Great guys...........Just two more matches and we will be the champs again. I think Pakistani's should come for the finals. For some reason I don't like the way the Indians have been boosted up by the media as if they are Super Heroes.

Sri Lanka played a great cricket. I believe it is a world record to beat a team with such a score without loosing wickets and making two centuries by two individuals.

Rohan Wijesinghe Saturday, 26 March 2011 05:34 PM

Proudly watched Sri Lanka emerging victorioous through British TV's in UK. Well done and go ahead Lions!
Even though England is out, they have shown the true spirit of Cricket by not denying the last minute century which we failed to appreciate in the past against India.

    Rizy Saturday, 26 March 2011 05:31 PM

This is a warning for Indian side
